Housebuilder Orbit Homes has confirmed it is to deliver 108 properties at a new development in East Sussex.
The proposed scheme, located on Shepham Lane in Polegate, will comprise 43 homes for social rent and 65 for shared ownership.
A mix of apartments and houses will be available, ranging in size from one- to four-bedroom homes.
The reserved matters application was fully approved at a planning committee on 22 June.
Construction is expected to start early next year, with the first new homes being available in 2025.
Brian Nearney, regional managing director at Orbit Homes, said: “We’re delighted to unveil plans for our brand-new development in Polegate, which has been developed collaboratively with the local authority.”
He added: “This much-needed affordable development demonstrates our ongoing commitment in delivering high-quality, energy efficient, affordable homes, and I look forward to seeing it progress over the coming years.”
The proposed site is located 7.6 miles from The Hedgerows, another Orbit Homes development in Hellingly Green, Hailsham.
Part of the Orbit Group, Orbit Homes aims to deliver more than 1,000 new-build homes per annum.
