Housing association A2Dominion has completed a new 100% affordable housing development in the London Borough of Ealing.

The development on Agape Way, Southall, comprises 24 three-bedroom family units.

Each home consists of two terrace blocks over the ground, first, second, and third floors.

The design also incorporates car parking, cycle storage, and private amenity space.

Steven Waite, director of Technical and Commercial at A2Dominion, said: “We’re delighted to complete this exciting project alongside Syntec Projects Ltd.

“We have a strong-track record of delivering high-quality homes to the London Borough of Ealing, and this modern scheme will help more families onto the housing ladder.”

Construction began at the former brownfield site in December 2020 in partnership with Syntec Projects Ltd.

Declan MacGabhann, Commercial director at Syntec Projects Ltd, said: “We’re proud that these stylish and modern apartments are also energy efficient.

“In the build, we achieved a reduction of 45.4% CO2 emissions through low air-tightness and a Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery System to provide the heating, hot water, and ventilation.

“Compared to conventional electric boilers, this system is four times more energy efficient, and residents should see reduced fuel bills.”

The development is located on Agape Way – ‘Agape’ deriving from the Greek for ‘love’.

Block A, Aletheia Mansions, takes similar inspiration, with ‘Aletheia’ translating to ‘truth’.

Meanwhile, Block B is named Zoe Mansions, with ‘Zoe’ translating to mean ‘life’.
