Bromford has recruited a new finance boss to start in June as Lee Gibson has left the 45,000-home landlord after five years in the role #UKhousing

Mr Gibson, who joined Bromford in May 2016 as executive director of finance, left the association at the end of last week, a spokesperson told Social Housing. Mr Gibson has taken a job in consulting, but no further details were disclosed.

Bromford is replacing him with Paul Walsh, who is currently head of finance: reporting and control at Coventry Building Society. He will join the Wolverhampton-based association as chief financial officer on 28 June.

Mr Walsh has spent the past three years at Coventry Building Society and prior to that worked for Nationwide Building Society for seven years in various roles.

Robert Nettleton, chief executive of Bromford, said that Mr Walsh would “look to strengthen the relationships we have with our many investors and build upon the strong financial reputation Bromford has cemented over a number of years”.
